Watermelon Radish

Conversation piece in your salads! Watermelon Radish has interesting and unusual colours that makes them look just like tiny water melons, a sure stunner radish.  Great for salads and sandwiches.

The majority of radishes are white on the inside, however there are a few rare varieties like watermelon radish that really stun with its coloration. 

This radish is a milder variety, like the purple plum radish that is also available from Glen Seeds. It will turn people that do not like the common strong hybrid commercial types, into radish lovers.

Growing Radishes is easy. Sow seeds about 5 cm apart directly in beds, keep moist and harvest in between 25 and 30 days. Radishes can be sown all year round and is perfect for filling up small empty spaces in your vegetable patch.
