Purple Plum Radish

Purple Plum produces deep plum purple globe shaped radishes with tender, crisp, white flesh.  Great for salads and sandwiches.  This rare gem is known for its exceptional taste.

This radish is a milder variety, like the watermelon  radish that is also available from Glen Seeds. It will turn people that do not like the common strong hybrid commercial types, into radish lovers.

Growing Radishes is easy. Sow seeds about 5 cm apart directly in beds, keep moist and harvest in between 25 and 30 days. Radishes can be sown all year round and is perfect for filling up small empty spaces in your vegetable patch.
