D'Avignon Radish
Here is a a finely textured ‘french breakfast style’ radish with looks to boot. White roots with reddish tops! D’Avignon is an old French heirloom and slightly resistant to become pithy inside. The cylindrical shape makes them perfect for snacks, dip in a sauce or cut lengthwise to put on buttered bread.
Growing Radishes is easy. Sow seeds about 5 cm apart directly in beds, keep moist and harvest in between 25 and 30 days. Radishes can be sown all year round and is perfect for filling up small empty spaces in your vegetable patch.
