Red Pear Tomato

The Red Pear Cherry tomato is one of the rarest of the heirloom cherry tomatoes and dates back to the 1700's when it was very popular for making tomato figs - a lovely sweet preserve similar to figs.

The cute red, pear shaped fruit of the Red Pear Tomato have an amazing tangy flavour, making it a yummy addition to salads and vegetable platters.  The luxuriously bushy plants need staking and are suitable for indoor and outdoor planting.
