Mignonette Bronze Lettuce

The Mignonette Bronze  Lettuce has been brightening home gardens since the late 1800's.  Lightly rumpled green leaves delightfully fringed with bronze grow to form a creamy head.  Leaves can start being harvested for the bowl within as little as 4 - 5 weeks and this pretty ornamental lettuce matures in 10-11 weeks.  Sow successively to maximise harvest potential.  The Mignonette Bronze Lettuce is heat resistant and semi drought tolerant making it a fabulous Summer addition to the South African garden

The leaves are crisp and mildly flavoured making them a colourful and nutritious addition to salads and sandwiches, being rich in Vitamin K and folate.
