Marconi Red Pepper

The award winning mammoth 1.2m and taller bush of the Marconi Red Pepper bears magnificent green ripening to red 16cm-25cm fruit starting a little later than normal.  If "picked" regularly the season can be notably extended.

The double lobed, tapered fruit have a unique complexity of flavour, very sweet and elevated by a mild smokiness that has it being sought out by gourmet chefs and home cooks alike.  It elevates any cooked dish, but can be enjoyed fresh as well!
