German Johnson Tomato

German Johnson Tomato originated in West  Virginia in the US. This heirloom tomato produce large delicious fruits that ripen to a very dark pink almost red. German Johnson Tomatoes are very meaty with few seeds and with its delicate flavour makes for a great sauce tomato, that is if there are any left for making sauces

Reportedly German Johnson tomato was used as a parent line in the development of the fantastic Mortgage Lifter Tomato…….need we say anymore?

Sturdy plants perform very well in hot humid areas making this tomato a good choice for the lower lying and coastal areas of South Africa.
