Aubergine du Burkina Faso Eggplant

Aubergine du Burkina Faso has a striking red colouration which we haven’t seen in any eggplant before. Colour up your vegetable patch or flower beds with this old African heirloom. As with African and Asian eggplants taste can be on the bitter side so some people might grow this one purely as an ornamental.

Plants are sturdy, can grow fairly high for an eggplant with black stems and stunning red fruit.
