Ten Fingers of Naples Tomato

The fancifully named Ten Fingers of Naples Tomato (or Dix Doights de Naples), so named because of the bunches of elongated small-medium tomatoes.  The resilient, hardy and forgiving plants produce an incredible mass of fruit on unusually large vines, often surpassing 1.5m and requiring caging or staking for support.

The walls of the Ten Fingers of Naples Tomato are much thicker than other tomatoes  making this Italian wonder a remarkably good sauce tomato, but, because of the firmness of the flesh, great for slicing also.
