Reise Tomate Tomato

Another kiss the frog story….Reise Tomate could well win the prize for most unusual looking tomato on the planet. In fact the “fruits” are made up from densely clustered smaller cherry tomatoes which can be broken off piece by piece and eaten. The name Reise Tomate derives exactly from this characteristic, it was said to take a cluster with you on travels and break small pieces off along the road for eating. Now how cool is that? Oh and before we forget to mention, they are really tasty.

Plants produce hundreds of small tomatoes clustered together and picked as entire clusters. The most unusual cluster shapes are produced by this tomato.
