Prince Borghese DF Tomato

This is a Dry Farming strain of the famous Prince Borghese cherry tomato. An exceptional high bearing cherry with an extended shelf life and excellent for drying. Yields are so good you will have plenty for fresh eating and drying for winter.

In South Africa as with many parts of the world, fresh water reserves are of concern.  Prince Borghese tomato Dry Farming strain was one of the first drought resistant vegetables we ever tried and did exceptionally well during the extreme heat and drought that started in the middle of 2014 and lasted until the middle of 2016. Dry farming strains that we tested during this time far outperformed any other vegetables we planted. Dry farming tomatoes still need water but much less than normal strains.
