So the Turks Turban squash is not just unusual and pretty its by far one of the best tasting pumpkins around. They can store for months making them great for extended display before you eventually cook them. Skin is tough and flesh appears dry, however when cooked they take on a creamy soft texture. Good to bake or boil.
Vines of the Turks turban squash will not take over your garden, they are fairly compact for a veining type. Plants produce 3 to 4 medium sized pumpkins.
