Sorghum Sugar Drip
Sorgum is native to the Southern parts of Africa and comes in different varieties. The most common types are grown for seed however there are excellent types that is grown for its sweet sugary syrop. Sugar drip grows extra high with long thin stems that can be eaten like sugar cane or the juice squeezed out to make a delicious syrup for ice cream, pancakes, flap jacks etc.
.Plants are highly tolerant of drought and robust. The can grow up to 8 feet high and make many side shoots. Plant this annual during summer,Sugar Drip Sorghum is not tolerant of frost and must be grown during the summer months.
