Carentan Leek

Very few Alliums do well any time of the year in South Africa, leeks is the exception to the rule. Carentan leek is one of the easier things to grow and goes well with so many dishes.

Real space savers, you can plant leeks close together and they are exceptionally hardy. Leeks will produce best during Autumn and Spring but frankly you can plant them whenever you want and still get a respectable harvest.
