The Black Seeded Simpson lettuce has been grown and loved for over 150 years.  Popular for the very short time to first harvest of about 6 weeks.  Do not transplant seedlings, they need to be planted directly into the ground or container where they will be growing for the season.

Sweet tasting large light green curly open leaves make the  Black Seeded Simpson Lettuce a must in any garden.  Plant successively to ensure the longest possible harvest time.
