Black Pearl Chilli

The Black Pearl chilli is so eye-catching in it's entirety,  with purple to black leaves and black sun gazing jewels for fruit that develop into a striking red when fully ripe, that it is sought after as a decorative ornamental as well as for its delicious medium heat peppers.  These little garden wonders originate from Mexico.

The Black Pearl Chilli is a medium hot variety similar, or a bit hotter than a Jalapeno.  The heat develops slowly, starting off as a pleasant citrus flavour but building up to a heaty  spiciness and then dissipating again within a few minutes.
