Good Mother Stellard

A very old heirloom bean from Italy. Good Mother Stellard is a pole bean grown to dry. Exceptional nutty taste makes this an outstanding soup bean. It is also one of the prettiest dry beans you will find anywhere in the world.

Plants must be trellised but does not need a very high or particularly sturdy trellis. Productivity is not great but the taste and looks make up for that a hundred times over.
