Shubo Pepper

The Shubo (from Kano) Pepper has been developed in Nigeria.  The slightly wrinkled, large green ripening to red "mild' tapered chillis grow in large numbers on 45cm - 60cm plants. 

Classed as a 'mild' chilli, the Shubo from Kano Pepper is best suited to drying as the walls of this African gem are relatively thin.  They do, however, make a fantastic, flavoursome addition to relishes.
